Government Bond Yields Fall as US Recession Fears Spike

The 10-year Indian Gsec yield dipped to 6.93%, and India's fiscal deficit improved to 8.1%. The Bank of England cut rates to 5%, while the Japanese yen strengthened on hawkish BoJ policies. In the US, weak economic data led to a drop in the 10-year Treasury yield to 3.79%.
